New York City, Part II // January, 2015

Like many artists, I have muses. I don't know quite how to explain it, but they are people who touch my heart and soul in a unique way. When I am around them, I feel more creative and get more ideas than I would without them. One of my friends of about seven years, Debbie Anne, is one of these people. She is charismatic, beautiful and passionate. When I am with her, nothing else in the world matters. While visiting New York City this past January, I was able to spend time with her at her apartment in Queens. We talked about how we've changed in a more positive direction through the years and how proud of each other we are. Her confidence and smile inspired me to photograph her just as she was, right then. And so I did.
